We want to create more ‘family’ homes for small groups of children to live in a home-like atmosphere within Xining Children’s Home. Coupled with the fact that we need to accommodate more children, this means that an extension is required.
An extension to Xining Rehabilitation Centre is also urgently needed, as demand for the services far exceeds what we can provide. The extension will include guest accommodation so that families can come from rural areas to access therapy for their disabled children. It will also allow for a greater variety of therapies and rehabilitation for the children, such as art and music.
