Lasting change for abandoned & disabled children

Qinghai: a vast, remote province in north western China where the Tibetan plateau rises to heights of 5000 metres and the three main rivers of China find their source. This is one of the poorest regions in China, where many live with hardship, ill health and disability. In Qinghai an unusually high number of babies are born with birth defects and child abandonment is not uncommon.

It is here that Christian Action is working with locals to transform the lives of the most vulnerable.

We provide nurturing Homes for abandoned children, resource foster families, and meet the special needs of children with disabilities through Rehabilitation Centres for the community.
